

Maria Elena Krellman (nee Padovani), 82, of Galloway, NJ and New York, NY passed away peacefully on April 25, 2026. She was born on November 27, 1943 in New York, NY to her dedicated and loving parents Amerigo and Lillian Padovani (nee Biuso), whose rich and nurturing spirits stayed with her throughout her life. She was a deeply loving and fiercely protective daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother who cared for her family members tirelessly and without hesitation. She was a graduate of the New York School of Interior Design whose clients and colleagues admired her both practical and imaginative visual style, sharp attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. She struggled with physical disabilities and health challenges after her retirement but always remained optimistic and cherished every moment she spent with her family at home and over the phone. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Danson Krellman; her dear brother, John Padovani; and his cherished wife, her sister-in-law, Janet Padovani (nee Hughes). She is survived by her son Jason Krellman (Isadora Ritter); grandson Jack Ritter Krellman; brother Rick Padovani; and his adored wife, her sister-in-law, Marguerite Padovani (nee Gaglio). She faced her final years with the same resilience, faithfulness, and bravery with which she overcame the many challenges she faced in her life. She will be deeply missed, but her memory and her legacy of inner strength will live on in her loved ones’ hearts.
