

Pablo is survived and missed by his loving parents, Pablo and Teresa Mosquera.
He was born in Elmhurst, New York and at the age of 5 moved to Flushing, NY where he lived and grew up in the same house with the Jacome Family. He was loved and adored by his uncle and aunt, Bolivar and Hilda Jacome, cousins, Jorge and Paulina. Later in life Paulina would marry, and her family, Jose, Gabriella and Lauren became his brother-in-law and nieces. Jorge and Paulina both viewed Pablo as their brother to the end. He lived in Flushing until after college when he moved to Forest Hills, NY.
Pablo was loved and adored by his cousins, Maggie Wickard and family, Carlos Velasco and family, Rosana Sullivan and family, Eddie Mosquera and family, Uncle Fabian and family and aunt Margarita Velasco. Family was always important to him, and he knew how to value it.
Pablo graduated and received his bachelor’s degree at Hofstra University and went on to have a successful career in corporate America. He was a Vice President at Citibank for the last 13 years. He loved to travel, go on adventures and explore. He visited many cities and countries, Boston, Chicago, Miami, LA, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Europe, etc. He enjoyed music, great food, enjoyed spending time with family and friends, was active and participated in bike marathons.
He was loving, affectionate, bright, honest, respectful, responsible, reliable, kind and so much more. He had a passion for sports and politics. He was a huge fan of the Mets, Jets and the Knicks.
He was truly a blessing as a son, cousin, nephew, grandson and as a friend to so many. His spirit will live on in our hearts forever. We love you always. Rest in peace Pablo.
A visitation for Pablo will be held Sunday, April 13, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358. A funeral mass will occur Monday, April 14, 2025, 10:45 AM at St. Andrew Avellino Church, 35-50 158th St, New York, NY 11358.
