Pauline lived her life with a wooden spoon in one hand and no time for nonsense in the other. Pauline was a
woman of strong opinions, a fierce sense of independence, and a lifelong disgust for men.
She will always be remembered for her iconic fashion sense: stirrups, fanny packs, and a wig collection that deserves it’s own obituary.
Pauline was many things: a mother, a grandmother, the overseer of Kissena Blvd (from the front door
window of course) and a world-class cook whose pasta could silence a room. She didn’t believe in measuring ingredients — or her words — and both made life more flavorful.
Above all else, Pauline lived for her great grandchildren. They were her pride, her purpose, and the only people she willingly changed her TV channel for. She survived on a freezer stocked with wooden meatballs and a jar full of biscotti & chocolate chip cookies.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, located at 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358, on September 20, 2025, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
