Richard Reinhold Schiller was born to Barbara Probst and John Albert Schiller on January 29th 1938, in Maierhöfen, Czechoslovakia and passed away on February 26th 2025 having attained the age of 87 years and 28 days. His childhood, till the age of 9, was marked by the war years in the Sudetenland and later Bavaria as a refugee. He grew up on a Schiller family 800-acre farm that became a lifeline to the town during that period of great unrest. Prior to the great depression and still in his youth, his father, John, immigrated to America and became a naturalized citizen. His father later emigrated back to Europe before World War II, to take care of his aging parents and the family farm. Within this serving and loving family, Richard matured, and after the war came to his new home, America! Richard is preceded into eternity by his wife Barbara and two daughters: Cynthia and Lisa. He is survived by his son Richard J. Schiller / Elizabeth Schiller. He is also survived by his three grandchildren: Grace / Jonathan White; Jeffrey / Amanda Schiller; and Anna / Michael Powers. Lastly, he is survived by seven great-grandchildren: Luke, David, Parker, Paul, Zoey, Caleb, and one more on the way.
