Teresa Amato, 87 passed away on March 26, 2014. She was born in Italy on November 7, 1926 to Gennaro and Marianna DiMartino. She is pre deceased by her husband, Alessandro. Teresa is survived by her children, Sara Pagnotta, Josephine Barcella and Alexander Amato, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Her visitation will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 2-5 & 7-9pm at Frederick Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be on Monday, March 31, 3014 at 10:45am at Mary's Nativity, followed by entombment at Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery in Flushing, NY. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Frederick Funeral Home, Flushing, New York.
