On today, which would have been your 76th Birthday, I miss being able to call you & tell you just how much I love you & how much having you in my life has meant to me. 
But God in His wisdom, saw how you were growing tired & frail & knew it was time to take you home. So again you can be  well & young & strong. 
And I know that someday, you will be there to Welcome us all back home! I love you!

Tommy was not just a neighbor, he was a friend. I enjoyed his coming by to share a conversation and a smoke, borrow a tool, or just to hear his interesting outlook on the world we inhabit. We know where he is and in due time will join him for eternity. Semper Fi, Tommy.

Dear Aunt Pat, 
Words cannot even begin to express our sympathy to you or our heartfelt sorrow on Uncle Tommy's passing. 
I will miss him terribly. 
Not only was he my uncle but he was such a good friend to me. 
Although selfishly we'd have all rather he be here with us, I know he is at rest & again reunited with Nana & Papa & with my Mom, Anne, Uncle Jimmy & sisters Mary & Eileen.
All together again!! 
I have no doubt he & the whole bunch will be watching over us all.

Dear Pat and the Farrell family, we are deeply saddened to hear the news.  Tommy has been a neighbor since 1963 and he has always looked after my mom until her passing and my brother Ray all these years.  His kindness will never be forgotten.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this dificult time.

Dear Pat,I have known Tommy since I was a teenager,in the 80s I moved across the street from my inlaws.I considered Tommy a respected neighbor,which later turned to friendship.He watched my children grow,and even watched out for them when he thought they werent doing the right thing.I appreciated Tommys strong convictions and old fashioned ways.
