Voula was the beloved and devoted wife of John Zoumberakis, with whom she shared a life grounded in love, family, and unwavering commitment. She was a proud and dedicated mother to Stella, Stelio, and Ellie, and a cherished mother-in-law to Leon, Audrey, and Mike.
Her greatest joy was her role as a grandmother. She adored her grandchildren—Elina, Michael, Yianni, Yianni Angelina, Michael, and Paige—each of whom brought immense pride and happiness to her life.
She was a devoted sister to Marika, Androniki, Dimitri, Dimitra, and Katina, and to her loving cousin Effie, and a dear aunt to many nieces and nephews, all of whom she held close to her heart.
Voula emigrated to the United States at the age of 15, carrying with her the strength, resilience, and spirit that would define her life. She worked off Wall Street, for over 40 years embracing the energy and determination of New York.
She was undeniably beautiful, both inside and out, and never allowed her health battles to define or limit her. Voula lived fully and joyfully—whether through her unmatched talent in the kitchen, her love of dancing and singing, or her gift for bringing people together. She was an incredible host who knew how to celebrate life and create unforgettable moments for those around her.
Traveling and cherishing time with loved ones were among her greatest passions, and she instilled in everyone around her the importance of embracing life, love, and togetherness.
Known for her warmth, strength, generosity, and vibrant spirit, Voula created a home filled with love, tradition, and lasting memories. The void left by her passing is immeasurable, and the hole in our hearts will never be filled.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
