Bill was the beloved husband of Rosaria and a loving father to Christina (Richard) Elefante, Rosaria (James) Petrowski, Diana (Oscar) Martinez, and Stephanie Surace. He was a cherished grandfather to Dominic, Gianna, Malakai, Vicente, Bella, and Valentina. He is also remembered as a dear brother to Fred (Francesca) Surace, Marie (George) Haubold and the late Joanne Orlowski and Frank Surace.
Bill's love for his family was evident in everything he did, and he treasured the time spent with them. He was also known for his fondness for trips to Aruba, where he created lasting memories with his loved ones. Bill dedicated much of his life to serving others, working as a Chief of Sanitation for the NYC Sanitation Department, a role he was deeply proud of.
The family will be receiving visitors on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 9:45 AM at St. Kevin's RC Church, 45-21 194th St, Flushing, NY 11358. Interment will follow at Mount St. Mary Cemetery, 172-00 Booth Memorial Ave, Flushing, NY 11365.
