

This past Wednesday April 8th, Alex lost his determined battle with stomach cancer. Born 1/18/1983 in Flushing, New York Alex was 32. Alex leaves those who love him so much: his parents, Susan of Forest Hills, NY and Stephen of Lambertville, NJ; his brother, Jonathan of Brooklyn ,NY; his grandmother Lola Zuckerman of Forest Hills, NY and his grandfather, John L. Niles of Conway, SC; his girlfriend, Carly Segal of Manhattan, NY – they had plans. Also many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and innumerable friends. He loved life, family and friends with the passion and determination, the way in which he lived , strived & achieved ... Daily
Alex’s neighborhood was the world. He loved to travel and made long lasting friendships with whomever he met. A successful entrepreneur, Alex started several small businesses, his last being CureWear, to help patients battling cancer. An advocate of continual learning Alex received his MBA from Fordham University and his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Drexel University. He attended Pennsbury High School in Pennsylvania. Athletically gifted Alex was a scholarship, Division One soccer player at Drexel. His club teams were FC Delco and YMS. While living in London Alex became a fan of the Premiership with Chelsea being his team.
With a gift for communication, Alex wrote several articles The Huffington Post, NY Times and Psychology Today and appeared several times on Huff Post Live. Alex had a great Twitter following.
