I can’t believe it has been 5 years since you left us and myself and many others at the pool really miss you
We got lucky and got an extra year at the pool and hope that keeps going but an investor wants to build on the land
I miss you my friend and know I’ll see u again one day but I ll stick around here for a little while longer

It’s been 3 years and I miss you still. All your friends at the pool miss you too and many days we talk about you.
We’re not sure if we will have the pool to go to next year but I know your memory there will live on forever.
Some other news for you, Ella lost Sandy this year. She is still very sad but hopefully you’ll see her where you are and the north of you can watch over us.

Hello My Friend Dave.
It’s been 2 years since you left us and I miss you every day and know I’ll see you again one day.
I’m going to post a picture of your cat Leah. Eileen and Steve are taking great care of her and I know she misses you too.



David and I grew up together and were childhood friends.  His mother Corinne, OBM was the kindest woman ever.  We were great pals until JHS when our paths went in different directions.

He was a kind and gentle soul, a hard worker and determined student in addition to being a lovely person.

So sorry to hear of his passing and hope he is resting in peace.  

I spoke to Dave in January.  Dave was my sister Laura partner for many years.  It was nice to speak to him and catch up.  Dave spoke to my sister Diane after my brother Roy passed away in April.  I called Dave to check up on him after the Hurricane  Isis went thru New York.  
I found it weird that Dave did not answer.  He use to always answer.  I told my sister Diane and she also tried at different times.  I guess we  were both to  late.  
Rest In Peace my friend.  I am so sad you are gone. You were a kind and gentle soul.  Sincerely Mary Weaver 

One fond memory is from Thanksgiving 2019 at a favorite Queens diner. We have not been to a NY diner in forever and it was a special dinner with our family. I remember clearly how Dave loved his chicken parmigiana entre with dessert, we had a great dinner because of the company. It was a perfect night, one that I will remember! A gentle, soft spoke  man with kindness in his eyes. May his memory be eternal. Love to Eilene, Steve, Kenneth, family and friends.


I am so glad I got to know Dave better in the last year.    It was great to watch him doing his laps every day and proudly telling us how many he had done.  He was a sweet man who was shy but he overcame his shyness as he got to know you and I'm so happy that he got more comfortable with me and enjoyed our conversations in the pool.  He was wonderful, kind, interesting and very funny.  I'm glad that he is not suffering and am sure he is looking down on all of us from heaven and smiling.   Dave, you were a wonderful man.  God bless and keep you. We will miss you.  Many thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Dave. I will miss watching your talented swimming ability and your sweet friendship with Michael  also watching your sandy hair get blonder as the summer wore on.  With all the challenges life dealt you.... you faced them head on.  You married you held a job you drove you kept a lovely apartment you were a loving cat dad and you were a friend to all of us at the pool.  Rest In Peace David and May there be an Olympic size pool in heaven just for you.  Love Liz   

He was a sweet soul. Quiet in his ways. He was a familiar face at BTCC but not very well known except to a select few. Happiest when he was swimming his laps. He will be missed. The only possible solace in all of this was his last act on this earth was what he loved to do... swim laps. 
There is another angel in heaven watching over all of us. God bless you Dave.

3 summers ago you introduced yourself to me and we instantly became friends. 
Lunch, movies and your favorite place, the pool.
You made so many friends there and all of them as I, loved you and will miss you
You touched so many lives and mine more than you can imagine
I know that Destiny and Ernie will miss there Uncle Dave and the blueberries you feed them as a treat.
