She passed on 10/9/22 at 4:45 am. She was 52 years old
She resided at the Rego Park Health Care Facility for the last 20 months. Prior to that she lived in Lifespire Group home (Gercek) in Manhattan. For most of Jamie’s life she lived with her Mother Joan and her father Gary (until his passing in 1998)
She is survived by her Mother Joan and her Aunt Ellen
Jamie was born with Down syndrome, but, she never let anything deter her from excelling in all that she tried to do. She was a superior Special Olympian and excelled in many sports.
Shiva will be held at Joanie’s home Thursday after cemetery
