I am stunned by this news and deeply deeply saddened. He was an exceptional human being. It's been a long time since we ran groups together but I never forgot it, and what an enormously gifted soul he was.

I have some great memories of Jason. A kind and loving soul. Peace my brother.

I'm still trying to catch my breath about this whole thing. I only found out like an hour ago. I haven't seen Jason in probably 20 years but my memories of him still feel so fresh and vivid. He was a fraternity brother but one of the most unforgettable people I have ever known in my life. I always wanted to see and embrace him again one day. While I've only known Jason a couple of months, what I saw in him was a man that was gracious, polite, and fun to speak with.   He was always willing to help out in any way when he came to his son's practices and games.  He's a gentleman.  But mostly he was a good dad.    I can tell in the way his son Noah interacted with him.  
We are going to dedicate the rest of the baseball season to Jason!  May he Rest In Peace!
