Joan Shore

Joan Shore, born in Brooklyn, NY on August 15, 1929 to Frances Aston and Salvatore Allicino, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026 with her family by her side. She leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion and family. Joan was a deeply dedicated mother to her children Susan DeViva and Ivan Shore and her grandchildren Alfred DeViva, Oliver Shore and Jake Shore. She was always thoughtful and attentive to all of her family including her daughter-in-law Dana Mesh and Jake's fiance, Ariela Gomez as well as extended family including Lynn Mesh, Amanda Fusco & Theo, Courtney Fusco & Dimitri and Lynn's grandchildren TJ and Aria. She made everyone feel seen, loved, and important. She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the genuine interest she took in the lives of those around her. Joan’s love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A Funeral Service will be held at Sinai Chapels, 114-03 Queens Blvd, Forest Hills, NY 11375, US, on April 10, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, with a live stream available at https://funeraweb.tv/en/diffusions/122601.

A Committal Service will be held at Beth David Cemetery, 300 Elmont Rd, Elmont, NY 11003, US, on April 10, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
