                                     The passing of JOHN MAFFEI 

I was deeply saddened to learn of John’s passing on November 27th.  

For the better part of 40 years, I acted as John’s personal attorney.  We began with a business relationship but expanded into a deep personal relationship.  He was my good friend and mentor.  

John was unique to say the least.  Always the consummate deal maker, he was constantly thinking outside the box.  He was kind, compassionate, and generous.  

In life, you are fortunate if you have a handful of people that make a difference.  He was one of my people.

I am grateful for the privilege of having John in my life for so long.  He will be missed.

My sincerest condolences to Dean and Andrew.
