I was neighbors with Judee for 8 years between 1970 and 1978 in Forest Hills.  We were good friends until I moved away to Flushing, then Fort Lauderdale.  She was always a happy girl and close with her mother Ruth who I also was friendly with.  I visited her once in Bay Terrace when she was a young mother with a new baby boy and a little girl.  I see they grew up to be wonderful adults with children of their own.  Judee, you did well for yourself and I congratulate you.  I contacted her on facebook about a year ago and we exchanged hellos.  But I did not know of her struggles because at the time I had some health difficulties of my own.  It was a shock when I found out of her passing.  Can't help thinking of those fun times in the 70's when we were so young.  Rest in peace, pretty lady.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss.  We used to live in Rosalyn;  down the block from you and your mom.  I played cards with her and always enjoyed her company.  I see the beautiful pictures of all of you.  I'm sure she was surrounded by joy and love.   My heartfelt condolences.

Judee… you’ve been gone a week and I miss you so much… You were my cousin, my best friend and my “sister”… There was no topic that we couldn’t talk about and have long discussions about… I’ll miss that most of all…There have been so many times this week that I’ve wanted to call you and tell you about something that happened in my life.. I miss your voice, your enthusiasm and the way you ended every conversation..”Give kisses and hugs”.. Even with all your struggles towards the end, you were cheerful and upbeat…The warmth we shared, the memories we shared will now only exist in my fading memory.. Somehow, you seemed to still remember things I had trouble remembering…You raised a beautiful family and your legacy, kindness and good spirits will live on in them all..Judee, you will forever live in my heart… I will always love you and I will forever miss you…
