Was so sorry to know about "Mr. Bloom"'s passing. He and his wife Salie were very good to me as a teenager and young adult. I was their babysitter at the very end of the '70's and beginning of the 80's for their two girls, Karen and Judy. 
Les was a fantastically creative man and a great dad. I remember that he was filming a movie in Manhattan and my brother and his friends all owned really excellent cars. He asked them if he could put their cars in the film. 
Needless to say,  they were elated!!
Salie was a great mom and allowed me to hang out even when I wasn't watching the girls. I would help her with chores and she would take me to the country club to swim with her girls. 
I will always have very fond memories of my teenage years with them. 
So sorry for your loss.

Our wonderful Danube River Cruise reunited after 50 plus years.  So happy for the time we shared.  You are missed. XOXO

Les was an all around great guy. I worked for him in the early 2000’s on Law and Order Criminal Intent.  Always enjoyed his company and warm personality.  He will be missed.  


So sad to hear about Les. I had the pleasure of working with Les on several films and only one word comes to mind: Class. Add his great talent and terrific sense of humor and you have a guy that was an absolute pleasure to work with. My condolences to the Bloom family, he will be missed by all.

I had the honor of working as assistant decorator with Les on 'Meet Joe Black' and several television shows.  I adored working with Les.  We always had so much fun.  He was loyal.  Brings a tear to my eye to know that he has gone.   Much love to all the people who were a part of his life.   Les was special.

We did some great films together and he and Salie were always the most gracious couple anyone could ever have met.  He is a lesson to us all of how creativity, hard work and our film family make it all so worth while.
