Today I visited Lisa's gravesite to pay my respects and say my farewell. Inscribed on her gravestone are the words "Dancing on the light from star to star". This comes from Neil Young's song "Like a Hurricane". This is how Lisa chose lil hurricane as her email address. She loved that song and life itself.

I never met Lisa in person but she touched my life and many others. Lisa was warm, funny, and compassionate -- always looking for ways to help others.  She will be missed and never forgotten. To Lisa's family: you have my sincere condolences. Especially to Lisa's daughter -- she loved you madly. 

We were all shocked at TDPH (of which Lisa was the heart & soul.  We miss you....

Oh Lisa...I will always love you and your memory. Thank you for being in my life.

Although we hadn't seen Lisa in several years, we were shocked to hear of her passing. Our hearts, thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathy go out to Sami and her family at this time of sorrow.

My heartfelt condolences to her family, friends and especially Sami, the love of her life. I was totally shocked and overcome with grief after finding out about her untimely passing. Having known Lisa for over 20 years, her smile could light up a room, as a single parent she was always striving to do what she could for her daughter, Sami. Lisa was always up to her next challenge. She was always bright and cheerful regardless of the challenges she faced.
May she rest in peace and may we all be grateful to have crossed paths.

Like Lauri Brown, I lost touch with Lisa also, but when she was here in Ft. Myers, she was an important of my family's life. My condolences to her family

Lisa will certainly be missed by many. Her energy & sincere concern for everyone she met was extraordinary. I'm sending lots of prayers to her family & loved ones.

Lisa was a great friend and co-worker to not just me but many. She will be missed. She cared so much for everyone and was always a joy to work with every day. There was never a dull moment when she was here and she was definately an angel in disguise.

Lisa was sweet and kind and every morning when she walked through the door into work you knew it was going to be a good day because she had a huge smile on her face and a pep in her step. She always knew how to make you laugh at the lease expected moments with just random thoughts. I didnt know her too long but she was nice.

Lisa's enthusiasm for life was infectious. She was a very sweet person. She always had an encouraging word at work and was always willing to help.  She will be dearly missed.
