Helene Elisabeth Aro, born January 3, 1920, of Ellenwood, GA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior July 1, 2011 and was surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband John E. Aro. She is survived by her daughter, Helen Acker and husband Ron of Albany, Ga.; her son, Michael Aro and wife Dagmar, of Monroe, Ga.; a grandson, Ken Walker and wife Cynthia of Eufaula, AL and a great grandson Klayton Walker, age 10, also of Eufaula, AL. She was loved and adored by family and friends and will be greatly missed. A memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, July 3, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Parkway Garden Chapel in Forest Park, GA.
