He lived a life marked by hard work, kindness, and a deep love for his family. He was known for his generosity, wisdom, and sense of humour. He spent many years as a superintendent with Canada Customs, where he made lasting friendships. While work was important to him, his greatest joy came from time spent with family, friends, and neighbours.
David was predeceased by his wife, Sandy and his brother Phillip. He will be forever loved by his brother, Kevin; his children, Tracy Wascher (Mark) and Ryan Harkins (Kerrie); his grandchildren, Thomas and Charlie Wascher, and McKenzie and Alex Harkins; as well as his beloved animals.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all of the staff at Niagara General for their compassion. A celebration of life will be held in early fall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fort Erie SPCA.
