Harry Ronald Hewison

At age 97 has passed away on Thursday April 30th, 2026 in Fort Erie Ontario. Harry is survived by his 4 children. Gail Sanford, Robbin Hewison, Lorna Oldreive, and Cameron Hewison. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Pauline Hewison (nee Wolfe) of Mactier Ontario in 2022 at the age of 91. Harry and Pauline leave behind their significant legacy of 4 children, 8 grandchildren (Charity, Preston, Megan, Richard, Emily, Donald, Gilbert, and Justin). 11 great grandchildren (Noelia, Andres, Aylssa, Kayla, Nathan, Marcis, Tysen, Ciera, Charlie, Wyatt and Evelyn). And 3 great, great, grandchildren (Colton, Tayshawn, and Harlen)

Harry was born in 1928 to George and Marion Hewison in Toronto Ontario. Pauline was born in 1931 in Mactier Ontario to George and Pearl Wolfe. Harry left school at age 15, having only completed grade 7. Pauline left school early as well having completed grade 8. Both entered the workforce to support their families and made hard work their calling card to a life of success. Pauline moved to Toronto in 1949 where she and Harry met as co workers, fell in love, and were married in 1953. Both worked hard for over 50 years, Harry in the food industry as a chemist and plant manager, and Pauline in manufacturing as a worker in Pharmaceuticals.

Harry and Pauline enjoyed family time, thoroughbred racing, travelling, and spending 30 years of retirement and 69 years of marriage together. They are reunited now and both at peace. They were much loved, and will be dearly missed.

A celebration of life for Harry will be held for close friends and family at a later date.
