Jay Morrison

July 4, 1945 – June 16, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jay Morrison, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, after a lengthy illness at Douglas Memorial Hospital in Fort Erie, Ontario, on June 16, 2026.

Predeceased by his mother, Dora Wills, his stepfather, Howard Wills, and his father, John Morrison, Jay leaves behind the love of his life and devoted wife of 50 years, Linda (née St. Denis).

He was a proud and loving father to Michael (Erycka), Jayme (Karsten), and Diana (Brett). He was a cherished grandfather to Callie and Cameron, their mother Heather, Kyler, Kooper, John, and Mitchell, and a proud great-grandfather to Leandro.

Jay will also be lovingly remembered by his sisters, Wendy Walpole (Albert) and Sharon Bolus (Jerry), his sister-in-law, Margaret Benn (Don), his brother-in-law, Steve St. Denis, as well as his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Cremation has taken place. A private family service and interment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Benner Funeral Services, as well as the compassionate doctors, nurses, and staff at Welland Hospital, St. Catharines Hospital, and Douglas Memorial Hospital in Fort Erie, for the exceptional care, kindness, and support shown to Jay and his family throughout his illness.
