Mr. Kenneth Douglas Winger

February 21, 1946 – September 30, 2026

Ken passed away peacefully at the Douglas Memorial Hospital in Fort Erie on September 30, 2026, after a three-year battle with cancer.

Beloved husband of Kathy (née Roth), beloved father of Julie, Bradley and his wife Mei-Ni Li, and Karyn and her husband Jad Ramsay, much loved papa of Elizabeth and her husband Ben Reda, Peyton and Ethan Ramsay, beloved great papa to Ava and Samuel Reda. Survived by his sister Jean Gooder, Brothers Don, Jim and his wife Cathy, Larry and his wife Brenda, Tom and Janet, and Jack.

Predeceased by his son Tracey (stillborn), parents Cecile and Ruth Winger, sister Patty, brothers Laben (stillborn), Ron and Rick, and his “adopted” parents Jim and Dorothy Sibbald.

Ken was a long-time employee of Ridgeway Farm Equipment and Ben Berg Farm and Industrial Equipment.

Cremation has taken place. Funeral will be held at Benner Funeral Home on Tuesday October 6, 2026. Visitation with the family will take place from noon to 1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service. Burial will follow at the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Snyder.

Luncheon will be held afterward at the St. John’s Lutheran Church Hall in Snyder.
