Passed away peacefully at Greater Niagara General Hospital on May 16, 2026. She was 75 years old. Loving daughter of Norma Everett. Beloved mother of Jason (Tracy) Wood and Jennifer Wood. Grandma to Dakota, Chaz, Kyle, Isaac, Joshua, Leah, Mathew, Paige, Kory, Seth, Parker and Elijah. Great Grandma to Mason and Cameron. Beloved sister to Danny (Brenda) Everett, Sue (Jim) Robb, Mark (Barb) Everett and Barb (Jack) Reinhardt. Predeceased by her husband Daniel Wood, father Bruce Everett, daughter Carrie Wood and great grandchildren Ivy and Memphis. She will be greatly missed by many family members and friends. Shirley was a hard-working single mother for many years ranging to Janitorial work at Ridgeway Highschool, working the gates at Crystal Beach Amusement Park - where she met her husband. She was very artistic and took a course on Interior Design. She also spent many years cooking in local establishments. She loved to cook and every child remembers the passion of her love through her cooking. She had a love of gardening and nature and carefully planned her yard for their care. Among all of these things she also loved music, family and friends. Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Williams Funeral Services on Friday May 22, 2026 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
