

Arlan was born on November 3, 1968 to Ryan and Donna Scott in Emo, Ontario.
Arlan worked at Arc Industries, the core plant and was part of Community Living where he was on the grounds crew, raking leaves, shoveling snow and cutting grass. Arlan especially liked working with Steve McEvoy and many other support workers . He also delivered the Westend Weekly Newspaper for 20 years. Arlan also worked at Diana’s Needle Embroidery for 23 years, as well at Doug Kitowski Trucking. Arlan was an avid recycler of cans. He was well known all over town. He spoke to everyone and knew them by name. He could be seen around town riding his bike. Arlan loved to dance and play darts with his Legion friends. Arlan was a bit of a tease and had the best one liners in town. He was always overheard telling his nieces and nephew “you munchkins should go fly a kite”.
Arlan leaves behind his parents Ryan and Donna Scott, sister Brenda, brother Carl (Krista), nieces Ryann and Maren and their mother Kim, nephew Gareth and niece Lilith and their mother Sharon, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents Gordon and Myrtle Scott and Crem and Hazel Seed and many special aunts, uncles and cousins.
Honourary pallbearers will be everyone who knew Arlan.
Visitation will be held Wednesday August 29th, 2018 from 7pm-9pm at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, Ontario.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday August 31, 2018 at 1pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 29 in Fort Frances, Ontario.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 29 c/o Green Funeral Home, 600 Reid Avenue Fort Frances Ontario, P9A 2P3.
