Dorothy Mildred Thompson

Dorothy was born in Fort Frances, Ontario on October 28, 1923. She moved to Atikokan in 1952 where she lived until her passing. She was a long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxillary. She enjoyed spending time with her large family and being outside working in her gardens.

She will always be remembered by her daughters Elaine Hnatiuk, Doris Thompson and Marlene Lees (Scott) and sons Dale (Carolanne) and Roy Thompson. Also missing her will be 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Also brother Arnold Angus and sisters Joyce Jackson (Len), Rita Westover and Lois Brusven (Gene).

She was predeceased by her parents Leslie and Mildred Angus; husband George Thompson and two sons Gordn and Glen Thompson; brothers John, Ellwood, and Russell Angus.
