Ken was born on February 4, 1935 to Beatrice and George Martin. He grew up in the Township of Blue along with his brothers and sister.
On February 10, 1956 he was united in marriage to Julie-Anne Ronne until her passing on October 17, 1986. He then married Madeline Hutchins (Legaree) on November 27, 1987.
He started his working career with CN where he worked as a machinist helper and later becoming a machinist. He then moved on to working for the Boise Cascade Paper Mill until his retirement in 1993. He also worked for Modern Plumbing and Heating during that time. Ken was involved with the Elks Lodge for many years, at one time becoming the Exhaulted Ruler.
He could always be found at garage sales looking for anything he thought his family could use. Enjoyed going to the DQ with his coffee buddies and tinkering in the garage. He was always there to lend a helping hand.
Ken is survived by his wife, Madeline along with his children, Susan, James and David; step-children Judy, Beverly and Murray, and their families, including many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his brothers Earl and Melvin Martin and their families.
