Mable Lengyel

Mable Lengyel passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Monday November 21, 2011 at the LaVerendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances, Ontario.

She leaves behind her husband John, with whom she would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in January. She will be sadly missed by her children Vicky McKay (Jake), Wayne Lengyel, Gail Selman (Joe), Sheila Simmons (David), Paula Lengyel, Nancy Johnston (Alex), Shelley Pettis (Ron), Charlotte Lengyel-Rose (Jim), Darrell, Michael and Tim Lengyel as well as daughter -in-law Bonnie Lengyel, and 21 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.

Mable was predeceased by her son Keith Lengyel, son-in-law Floyd McKay and daughter-in-law Katy Lengyel.

At Mable’s request there will be no funeral service, friends and family are welcome to attend a come and go tea, which will be held at the Adventure Inn, Saturday, November 26th from 2 until 4 pm.

Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at a later date at the Lake Of The Woods Cemetery in Kenora .
