

She was born on April 7, 1920 in Ste. Anne, Manitoba to Joseph and Grace Pelletier. Her father worked on the Railroad and their family moved many times when she was a young girl. She came to Emo at the age of 15 taking a job on a local farm for Robert and Elizabeth Georgeson. It is there that she met her husband Ernest Georgeson and they were wed on October 31, 1936. They lived on that farm together raising their family until his passing on February 4, 1987 and her failing health forced her to move to Emo in 2003. Madeleine was considered a kind woman who was well respected for everything she did.
Madeleine was predeceased by her husband Ernest; parents Joe and Grace Pelletier; grandson Roy Johnson in 1987; son-in-law Ron Sinclair in 2007; parents –in-law Robert and Elizabeth Georgeson; sisters Teresa, Rita and Gertrude; brothers-in-law Gerald Bourque, Steve Yarema, Dave Caldwell, Ralph Georgeson and George Georgeson.
She leaves behind her children Constance Sinclair, Joe (Shari) Georgeson; Floyd (Joyce) Georgeson, Janet (Kent) Johnson and Dan Georgeson; grandchildren Susan Pilatzke, Karen (Keith) Fifield, Patricia (Vince) Noro, Tim (Debbie) Sinclair, Dawn (Blair) Mackie, David (Sharon) Sinclair, Julie (Justin) Taylor, Rob Georgeson, Ernest (Darla) Georgeson, Jeff (Betty Anne) Georgeson, Rebecca Anne Georgeson, Ken (Wanda) Johnson, Colin (Tanya) Johnson, Wayne (Janice) Johnson, Earl (Kristin) Johnson, Scot Georgeson, Jennifer Georgeson and Kevin (Crissy) Georgeson, 30 Great Grandchildren; 8 Great Great Grandchildren; sisters Helen Yarema, Jeanne Georgeson, Annabelle (Leo) Paavola, Jacqueline Caldwell as well numerous nieces and nephews who loved her lots.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 18, 2012 from 7 until 9 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, Ontario.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, Ontario with Pastor Ken Johnson officiating.
Interment will take place in the Barwick Cemetery.
The active pallbearers will be her grandsons; Tim Sinclair, David Sinclair, Rob Georgeson, Ernest Georgeson, Jeff Georgeson, Ken Johnson, Colin Johnson, Wayne Johnson, Earl Johnson, Scot Georgeson and Kevin Georgeson.
The honourary pallbearers will be her sons Joe, Floyd and Dan Georgeson
