

She was born on March 11, 1991 in Thunder Bay, Ontario to Sharon Lee Ann Jourdain. She was taken in by Dennis and Charla Morrisseau and was raised in Couchiching First Nation. Marci loved her family and friends deeply. She was fearless and well loved.
Marci leaves behind her father Dennis Morrisseau (Jolene) of Couchiching First Nation; mother Charla Morrisseau (Darren Hughes) of Devlin, ON; brothers Faron Morrisseau (Jenna Gogosha and their son Treydon) and Gavin Morrisseau; sisters Elizabeth Morrisseau, Kayleigh and Tia Walton and Abagail Gosselin; grandmothers Melvina Morrisseau and Iris McLean; aunts Debbie McLean (Darren Kress and their children Danielle[Jared] Sadie and Cheyenne), Jennifer Jourdain – God mother (Shane and their children Erika [Cole Calder and son Brody], Amber [Shaq] and Tommy), Shelly Vivian (George), Sandra Windego, Chris Hayes (Shane) and Nicole Drennan; uncles Lorne Morrisseau, Marty Morrisseau (Monica), Harlan Morrisseau (Melanie) and Stephen Morrisseau. She also leaves behind cousins on the Morrisseau side, too numerous to mention.
Immensely loved by her grandparents, Steve and Iris Jourdain; brother Adam; aunt Peggy Jourdain ( David) and her children Karrah and Alex; uncle Steve Jr and his children Tyler, Miles, Katilyn and Tiffany. She also leaves numerous great aunts, uncles and many loving cousins. Always in our hearts, good bye my tiny niece.
She was predeceased by her mother Sharon; grandfathers Emil Morrisseau, Murray McLean; grandmother Mary Alice Drennan and uncles Clifford Morrisseau and Faron (PeeWee) Morrisseau
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, ON. Lieutenant Ryan MacDonald will officiate with interment in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Couchiching First Nation, Ontario.
Friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
The pallbearers will be Shane Jourdain, Jared Baker, George Vivian, Kerry Morrisseau, Alex Tookenay, Vince Tookenay, Dave Peters and Big Big – Edward Atatise.
