Murray Kenneth Beninger Sr.

Murray was born on June 26, 1947 in Rainy River, Ont.

Murray is survived by his wife, Sharlene (Lambert), of almost 50 years on Dec. 6, 2018.

Also surviving is his son, Murray Jr., and grandchildren, Trey, Mya, Paul, and Gage; brothers, Ted (Glenda) and Robert (Marnie); and sister-in-law, Laurie Callan.

Murray was predeceased by his five-year-old son on Dec. 27, 1980 and his brother, Danny, in 1990; mother, Dorothy (Radbourne) and father, Lyall; and his mother and father-in-law, Alyce and Paul Lambert.

At Murray's request, cremation has taken place and he requested no funeral service.

Murray adored his wife, loved his family, and valued his friendships. He was genuine, honest, and although he seemed rough and tough on the outside, he was actually gentle and humble on the inside.

He worked hard, played hard, and truly lived his life with passion and heart. He will be missed by all who knew him and especially by those who loved him.
