March 31, 1949 – April 1, 2018
Raymond loved guiding and fishing…most of all his fancy boat. He coached baseball teams, played pool, golfed, Bingo and being with his family and friends, always laughing. He took pride in being an active member in any event or activity in Onigaming.
He enjoyed his visits with Patrick Copenace and Angela Flett at the nursing home and their trips out to Bingos.
Raymond had many, many friends everywhere. Thank you to all, there is too many to mention by name.
He was born to the late Thomas Sr. and Rose Shebagegit (nee Derosier).
Raymond leaves behind his daughter Jodi Albany (Stan); grandchildren Carl Munroe (Helen Yellowhead) and their children Treyden, Ceirra, Lynessa, Fawn and Credence, Yolanda Munroe (Aaron Nanokeesic) and their child Aleesandra, Brooklyn Munroe and her child Vandinelle, Tiondra Munroe and her child Nolan and Kiiwedin Albany; brother Tom (Liza); nieces Margaret Rose, Lisa, Cindy and Karen; nephews Brian, Darrell, Burt, Joseph Jr., Chris, Lynn, Owen, Frank, Eugene and Leslie
Raymond will join his deceased siblings Alice, Jean, Joseph Sr. and Frank Sr. and niece Brenda as well as cousins and relatives on both sides of the families….he loved everyone.
A traditional wake will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 3 p.m. at the Ojibways of Onigaming First Nation Gymnasium.
A traditional funeral ceremony will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the Ojibways of Onigaming First Nation Gymnasium with Elder Richard Morrison.
Interment will take place in the Ojibways of Onigaming First Nation Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be Raymond’s family and friends.
