

The family wishes to sadly announce that Rudolph Morrisseau Jr., age 36, of Couchiching First Nation, Ontario passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015. He was born on June 15, 1979 in Fort Frances, Ontario and lived at Couchiching First Nation most of his life.
Rudolph enjoyed playing guitar, cooking, and hanging out with his family and friends. He enjoyed his time with his three children. He was a generous, adventurous, and just a fun loving guy. Rudolph was a high school graduate of Seven Generation High School in June 2012.
Rudolph is survived by his son Trenton Morrisseau and his mother, Jessica; his daughters, Taryn and Taliah Morrisseau and step-daughter, Summer Mainville and their mother, Jennifer Mainville; and father, Rudy Morrisseau Sr.; all of Couchiching First Nation, his mother Wanda Paishk (Patrick) of Wabaseemoong First Nation; his sister, Kirsten Morrisseau along with nephew Carter, and niece Teagen; his brothers Robert Morrisseau (Danielle), Derek Mainville (Jane) along with children, Olivia, Sonny, Rosaleigh, Daniel, and Thomas, all of Couchiching First Nation, Skylar Paishk of Wabaseemoong First Nation,
He was predeceased by his parental grandmother, Marjorie Morrisseau, and paternal grandfather Alex Morrisseau, his maternal grandmother Sally Smith and maternal grandfather Billy Smith.
A wake will be held Thursday evening at the Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Couchiching First Nation, Ontario. Parish prayers will be offered at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Couchiching First Nation, Ontario. Father Victor DeGagne will officiate with burial in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be John Roach, Shawn Connon, Jonathan Smith, Kevin Yerxa, Cash Adams, William Morrisseau, and Dennis Morrison.
Honourary pallbearers will be his brothers, Rob, Derek, and Skyler, his sister Kirsten, along with his nephew Carter, niece Teagen, and cousin Scott Morrisseau.
