

Alan Keith Tuenge, 66, of Cooper City, FL passed away peacefully in his home on November 11, 2015 with family by his side. He leaves his wife of 27 years, Michelle (McCarthy); his daughter Tracy and her husband Brandon Gill; sister Susan (Corbin) and her husband Pat; brother Gary and his wife Sharon; sister Linda (Ellison), nieces Cathy, Rachel, Jessie; nephew Ryan; several cousins and many close friends.
Alan was born March 19, 1949 in Crookston, MN, the son of Elmer and Bernice Tuenge. He graduated from Erskine High School in 1967, attended NDSU and the University of Central Oklahoma, obtaining a degree in Accounting. He moved to Chicago where he worked until 1986, at which time he moved to Cooper City, FL and worked for Eric’s Aerospace, later known as Jamaica Bearings.
Besides cheering for the Miami Marlins and Florida Panthers every chance he could get, Alan was an avid fisherman and made annual trips to Canada with his life-long friends, Gary Kolstad and Gerald Olson. He also enjoyed ocean fishing with his good friend Steve Danisovsky.
Alan was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Bernice, and his daughter Kelly.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 11 in Erskine, MN. Details to follow.
