Born in Rochester, NY on April 2, 1936, Ann was the only child of the late Benjamin and Maimy (D’Amico) Caruso. Raised and educated in Rochester, Ann attended Madison High School. On January 23, 1954, Ann was married to her high school sweetheart, John “Jack” Pascarella. After a union of nearly 25 years they divorced but remained lifelong friends. On December 30, 1983, Ann was married to her second husband, Dean Alexander, a union of almost 25 years until his passing. Ann retired as a Bookkeeper after many years.
In her spare time, Ann enjoyed traveling, shopping, gambling and bingo. She enjoyed her pool time and spending many special times with her family and friends. She studied and achieved her GED in her mid 40’s and was a second generation American as both of her parents were born in Italy.
Ann is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Karen Pascarella and William “Bill” Riley. Since Ann was the only child of Benjamin and Maimy, she felt her first cousins (on the D’Amico side) were her little sisters. “Little Sister” Cousins: Julie Goldstein, Ruth Nash, Gail Klee, Laura Mohr, Linda Lenzi and her husband Richard Sr. and Johann McGowans and her husband Raymond and many other extended family members. She is also survived by numerous devoted and loving friends and acquaintances.
Predeceased by mother and father, Maimy (D'Amico) and Benjamin Caruso, grandparents Ruth and John Sr. D'Amico, loving husband, Dean Alexander, daughter, Deborah Pascarella, grandson, Anthony "Tony" Pascarella, Aunts and Uncles (Caruso and D'Amico families) and lifelong friend (former spouse), John "Jack" Pascarella.
