Barbara Ann Porter, 87 died on Tuesday, March 8th 2017. Beloved wife of the late Charles D. Porter. Preceded in death by her daughter, Mary, and son, Kevin. Survived by her sons David (Lena), Timothy (Dawn) and Christopher. Loving Grandmother to Michael Roberts (Edna), Sara (Thomas), William, Jesse, Eleah (Chris) and Barbara Ann. Son-in-law Gary Roberts, brothers-in-law, Bob Herhusky, David Porter, Donn Berkley, sisters-in-law, Diane Ryder nad Janet Donaldson. Aunt to many cousins and a friend to everyone who met her.
Barbara's love of travel kept her going until the end of her life; 7 continents visited as well as a rumor she signed up for the Mars mission. Loyal to her friends, always devoted to her family and a delightful disposition that was surpassed only by her bright smile that was a blessing bestowed upon all she met.
A memorial to celebrate her life is planned for Saturday, March 11 at 3:00PM in the Village Center at the Covenant Village of Florida, 9213 W. Broward BLVD., Plantation, FL 33324. In lieu of flowers you may donate to Doctors Without Borders in her name.
