Holly and Torrey,
I was so sad to learn of your mother's passing from my mother, Jane Larabee.  I have such fun memories of time spent with your mom.  
I am glad to read that she was busy with life until the end.  My deepest sympathies to all of you.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of such a lovely, brilliant light.  Barbara was a fearless, vibrant, creative force that inspired so many of us.  I treasure the time I spent with her.  She will be sorely missed.  My sincere sympathy to her family.

I wanted you to know that she had a profound impact on my life and shared a gift with me that I will always treasure. I feel privileged to have been part of her life. Dear Family,  I was very sorry to learn of Barbara's. Illness. It was only last summer that I reconnected to her and was able to visit with her in her home in Harrisonburg.  She gave me one of the card she had created for her husbands memorial bridge.  we were planing to see each other this summer and see if we could create an art experience for the Presbyterian Wonens summer gathering at Massanetta Springs. she was always busy helping people connect through art. I will think of her every year when I am attending our conference. May God continue to bless you all.

Holly and Torrey, you have my deepest sympathies on the passing of your mother.  She was such an outgoing person and had such a wonderful sense of humor that she made innumerable friends throughout her life.  She will be sorely missed by so many, but I know that she will be missed most of all by you.  Know that she was so proud of both of you, you were the light of her life.  I feel privileged to have been her friend.  If I can do anything to help during this difficult time, please don't hesitate to ask.

To Barbara's daughters and other family--I am SO very sorry to hear from Cindy that Barbara had passed away.  It is little comfort just now to know that she had an interesting and very creative life, and that we loved her for her sense of humor and so much more.
