Betty Villella

Betty was born in Sutton, West Virginia to Virgie and Jesse Gillespie on May 29, 1932. With a full house of 14 siblings, Betty and her sister, Nancy traveled to California to live with their Aunt Mabel. At the age of 18, she moved to Ohio. There she met her husband, Anthony Villella at the drive-in restaurant where she worked. After seeing Betty for the first time, Anthony started to frequently visit and ultimately won her heart.

Betty and Anthony got married on November 6, 1952, after he spent time serving in the Navy. They eventually relocated to South Florida and continued to grow their family. They spent half a century happily together. Betty’s smile, warmth, and loving nature will always be remembered.

Betty is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Anthony Villella, and daughter, Debbie Yawn.

Betty is survived by her son Tony Villella and his wife Amanda Villella, son Mark Villella, grandchildren Ashley Daly and her husband Brendan Daly, AJ Villella, and Justin Villella.
