A titan in the insurance industry with a huge personality. He will be missed greatly by many people including myself. Rest in peace my friend. Sincere sympathy to his family.

I would like to take a moment to remember Brian who left a lasting impression on all of us who were privileged to know him.
As the younger brother of my former boss, he brought a unique warmth into every space he entered. He was always pleasant, kind and generous. He made everyone feel at ease and valued. What truly set him apart was his infectious smile. 
He will be remembered not just for his achievements and service, but how he made everyone feel welcomed and uplifted. His memory will continue to live in our hearts. Prayers and condolences to his family at this difficult time. May he rest in peace.

WOW OH NO. Such a great one gone to his Maker. Brian lived a very good, long life, with many friends and family and his best friend Debbie. My sincere condolences go to you Debbie and the entire family. And while I'm so sad to know of his condition I am very proud to say I have supported UM JM Sylvester Cancer Research Center, this being 12th year of raising funds participating in the Dolphins Cancer Challenge 5K at The Hard Rock. I will continue fighting for all afflicted with this disease, pray for a cure and pray 🙏 for Brian. RIP.

I was very sad to hear of Brian’s passing. Far too young! I’ve known Brian for 30 years and he will be greatly missed. A larger than life character - loved and admired by the whole reinsurance community. I first met him, floating in the sea, holding a beer, in Nevis on a broker- organised visit in 1996. He was one of the first Caribbean clients that I met (he was running Jamaica International at the time) and he made quite an impression! I will miss his laugh, fantastic sense of humour and general positivity.  We shall all miss him. My condolences to his family.

Brian Bitter champion friend Bri as I knew him and I went to Campion College we were very close friends we lost touch with each other when my family relocated to Barbados in 1971 we regained contact much later and spoke with each other monthly all about family colleagues mutual old friends and on and on all great memories Bri had  a wonderful memory call a name and he would give you the history of the person Bri you will never be forgotten be peaceful and rest in eternal peace will miss you and our monthly chats to Debbie and family I extend sincere condolences on behalf of my family

As my Dad affectionately called you “Bigga”- you brought joy and laughter to any occasion. Always joking and teasing- when you would get together with Dad and Uncle Petes, the stories were endless, hours of entertainment. There was never a dull moment in your presence.
