Burt began his career in the barbershop industry while living in Virginia and continued after moving to Florida, eventually owning and operating his own barbershop. Prior to computers and automation, Burt's creativity led him into commercial art in advertising.
Burt had a passion for life and was a man of many talents. He was an avid skater and square dancer. He enjoyed boating and shrimping with his friends and family. He was a member of the Gold Coast Motorcycle Club and had an amazing ability in riding, restoring and customizing motorcycles.
He continued creating and building stained glass, patio decks, swimming pools and waterfalls up until the day he was taken from this world.
Burt is missed by the many who loved him.
