Carmelina Cuevas, a cherished resident of Tamarac, Florida, went to be with the Lord. She was known for her hard-working, honest, humorous, compassionate, faithful, and devoted nature. Carmelina's life was a testament to these virtues, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Carmelina is survived by her brothers, Bernardo Cuevas, Elias Cuevas, Raul Cuevas, and Everaldo Cuevas, and her sisters, Migdalia Cuevas and Luz Celina. She was proceeded by her brother, Ricardo Cuevas.
A visitation and funeral service will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, located at 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33317, on November 25, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 2401 Davie Rd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33317, from 3:04 pm to 3:30 pm.
Pallbearers honoring Carmelina will be Efrain Elias De Jesus, Ricardo Cuevas,Pablo Gonzalez , Richard Elijah Rios, Caleb Bonilla, Marcelino Jose Cuevas, Efrain Sanchez, and Bernabe Uriel De Jesus.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Peters Rd Baptist Church, located at 5600 Peters Rd, Plantation, FL 33317.
Carmelina's final resting place will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Davie. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
