Through much saddened emotions, my most heartfelt condolences are being written for Pat and family (and friends), as well as Jon Ferando and my Blue Compass “Family” who will also feel this heartbreaking loss. 
I was first introduced to Chris by Mark Strollo August of 2022, as I went for my walk-through on my new motorhome. (First picture) Chris immediately handed me his card with a handshake saying “If you ever need anything, here’s my number!” At the time, I was not even aware what an honor this was, nor what favor I’d be given over the last three years. 
There were many times I had to take Chris up on his offer; never once did he let me feel I was a bother! He only responded with help! 
I must also mention the RED CARPET TOUR that he arranged for me with JAYCO! I will never forget!
Every time I “ran into” Chris, from Albany to TX’s MHSRV and two ribbon cuttings in CA, there was always a big smile coming from this generous man!
He has surely left a dear legacy, for his family, Blue Compass, and I’m sure many more! 
Please know that my prayers will be with you dear Pat (and All) both now and in the days to come. 
May the love of God and the beautiful pictures of your life together hold you until you meet again.

My husband and I are neighbors of Chris and Pat. We always saw Chris coming back in from cycling in the early morning then walking his dog, Morgan. Our dogs would always play together. We’d  chat about his travel adventures and ours and business. He was always in such high spirits and had an infectious smile.  We’d also run into him out on the water boating or on the jet ski. He will be deeply missed.

He asked me to hold onto his bike because he knew I would love it as much as he did.  He was right!

We knew Chris for years as a fascinating, intelligent and entertaining gentleman.    He was a well-versed in a wide variety of interesting subjects and was always a fun part of the trips we shared together.  
We will miss him!   Our condolences to Pat and the rest of the family.

We thought we bought tickets on a tour boat with about 15 other people for around $20 USD.  When we were about to board, they showed us to a private boat.  I guess the tour boat was about $2 each.

When I first met Chris I found his passion and enthusiasm infectious.
He always spoke proudly about his family and the people he surrounded himself with. His eyes would light up when he discussed boating, biking, and his other activities.
Chris was extremely kind to me from the first day we met. Positive, helpful, encouraging, and supportive.
My prayers are with his family as well as his Blue Compass family. I know he will be missed dearly by all of you.

I was fortunate enough to have worked with Chris as his corporate partner while at AutoNation.  He didn’t actually need any help, but he was always gracious anyway.  Over the years, we got to know one another pretty well and I feel very fortunate to have worked with him as closely as we did…..smart, persistent and always gracious.  There’s no doubt that he’s going to be missed by all that knew him well.   My thoughts and prayers are with Pat and his family.

Chris was a winner.  Not in the usual sense of having to “win”, but more about being the best at anything he did.  He went into biking and became nationally ranked.  He decided to fly and I recall being with him on a multi-engine check ride. He liked woodworking and became a master.  Guns? He was an accomplished gunsmith and more recently a competitive shooter. We could all go on.  He loved life and family. I proudly called him, “brother”.  Love to Pat, Alison and all those blessed with him in their lives.

In 2018, Chris and George stayed in Pacific Grove at our family getaway beach house near Monterey, California. Chris took his father whale watching and they had some nice views of humpback whales. Chris was a great photographer and it seemed he excelled at everything he did. He will be missed.

Chris’s father, George, was the love of my mother’s life and my mom and George lived close by to me and my family for many years. My mother adored and loved Chris like a son. We had the pleasure of visiting with Chris and Pat for many dinners and social occasions when they would come to town to visit George. Chris was always a gentleman, thoughtful, warm hearted, a good conversationalist, generous and kind to our family. When George passed in 2021, Chris gifted my two sons some nice shotguns from George’s Estate which they appreciate to the fullest. My youngest son, Grant, visited Chris and Pat last year and he got to go on an excursion on Chris’s boat. Chris and Pat treated Grant like family with warm hospitality. We all feel a deep sense of loss and our hearts go out to Pat and Alison and the Glenn family.

My sincere condolences to the Glenn family. Chris, I will remember your million-dollar smile and your keen sense of humor. I will cherish the laughs we shared together. You will be missed by many.

Chris was my bonus big brother.  When my Mom was dying he flew out to see her one last time and he was so kind and generous.  We had been planning a trip to take our parents’ ashes to Kauai so that they could be together again.  Maybe we’ll still make the trip but it won’t be the same without Chris.

I will watch the Kung Fu Hustle this Thanksgiving and remember Memphis.  My heart goes out to Pat and Allison.

I went to high school with Chris. He was one of my best friend’s big brother, which meant he was like a big brother to me. He teased me, supported me, and made sure I knew he would be a friend for life.
Missing him a lot!
