Cynthia Hyacinth Davis

Born February 12, 1937 in Portland, Jamaica W.I. She was married to Cecil Davis (predeceased). She spent her time raising her children, until she migrated to Canada in 1981 where she resided and worked as a caregiver for the elderly for some time. Then she moved to New York and worked until she retired to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She later resided in Cape Coral with her daughter Jacqueline until her passing.

Survived by her beloved children Novelette Youssef (Tony) Cecil Davis, Audrey Davis, Carlton Davis (Joan), Patrick Davis (Erica),Aubrey Davis (predeceased) Noel Davis (predeceased) Perry Davis, Jacqueline Davis, Wayne Davis and Glas Davis.

Survived by 23 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Her siblings Linval Stewart (predeceased), Millicent Stewart (predeceased),Olive Stewart, Paul Stewart, Sonia Stewart, a slew of nieces and nephews and extended families and friends.

She will be remembered for her love and compassion, her gentle nature and dedication she had for her family and friends. We will miss calling her and getting that reassurance that everything will be okay, or she might sing a song to you or better yet, pray with you.

Our heartfelt thanks to all the doctors, nurses and caregivers at Cape Coral Hospital for their care and compassion. Neighbors, families and friends and last but not least Ms. Mareta Berry (like a sister) cared for her so lovingly up until her passing.

A visitation for Cynthia will be held Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at First Church of the Open Bible, 4767 NW 24th Ct, Lauderdale Lakes, FL 33313. A funeral service will occur Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:15 PM, 4767 NW 24th Ct, Lauderdale Lakes, FL 33313. A committal service will occur Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens South, 2401 Davie Rd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33317.
