Delores Ernestine Jacobs

Delores Ernestine Jacobs, 83, of Sebastian Florida, born October 28, 1933 in Kingston, Jamaica, passed away at her daughter’s home on Monday, May 8, 2017. She is the daughter of Clara Robinson and Albert Simpson. Delores was married to Hugh R. Jacobs who preceded her in death in 1999. Delores migrated to the United States in June of 1983 with the hope of establishing a foundation for her children due to deteriorating circumstances in Jamaica at that time. Through hard work and sacrifices, Delores accomplished these goals and provided for her children a stable second home and platform from which all benefitted.

Delores is survived by her sister Phyllis Anderson; children— Dean Jacobs (Angela), Jacque-Ann Isaacs (Steven), and Peter Jacobs (Suzanne); Grandchildren—Samantha Isaacs, Deanna Nall-Tarpley, Shari Godwin (nee Isaacs), Ashleigh Jacobs and Hannah Isaacs. Nieces and Nephews—Kelly Nall, Carey Willoughby (Loria), Ian Willoughby (Evelyn) and Robert Willoughby (Santiaga); godchildren, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, great-grandchildren and great-grand nephew.

Viewing between 12:00 pm to 2: 00 pm and Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 13th at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens South at 2401 SW 64th Avenue, Ft Lauderdale FL 33317. I love you Mommy. You will be missed.
