Dominic Anthony Lucci passed away unexpectedly on October 24, 2016 at age 23. Dominic was born August 18, 1993 in Dallas Texas. His very active elementary school years were spent in Houston where he and his 2 brothers were affectionately called, by their nanny the "tres terremotos" (earthquakes) because it seemed that together the three of them could move mountains- or at least the high crystal chandelier in the entryway. The family moved to south Florida in 2003 where new friends and new schools awaited. Dominic enjoyed playing tennis, long boarding, and working out in the gym. He worked as an assistant at a gymnastic center for young children and volunteered for Habitat for Humanity. His love of exercise expanded to include water skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling with his brothers and parents. Dominic was passionate about cars and he had a very Miami Nissan GTR with neon green forged wheels and a very Texas lifted Ford F250 truck. He went to college at Florida International University and graduated this year with a BA in Business Administration. He translated his love of cars and his business degree to work together with his brothers to launch their own business- Platinum Design Forged Wheels. Dominic was smart, ambitious, loving, compassionate, and fun. He was a beloved son to Dr. Ruth Cigarroa Lucci and Dr. Joseph Lucci III, devoted brother to his twin Michael and older brother Joseph. He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents Drs. Leonides and Margaret Cigarroa of Laredo, Texas and by his paternal grandparents Dr. Joseph and Joan Lucci of Houston, Texas. He is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and a very large extended family primarily in Texas. He was a true and generous friend. He had a special, inseparable bond with his brothers Michael and Joseph. He will live forever in our hearts and in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
