On January 18, 2025 Florence Jean Poole (Nee) Bell left this world and went home to her beloved Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Jean, as most people knew her as, was born in Philadelphia to Adam and Catherine Bell, both immigrants. Adam from Ireland and Catherine from Scotland. Jean was the mother of Gary Harthousen Jr., his wife Dena, daughter Joyce, grandson Gary Harthousen 3rd,his wife Laura, great grand children Zayden Harthousen and Zara Harthousen. She was predeceased by a son, Paul.
Jean had a love for Jesus and, as a result, loved working for Jesus winning souls to him. Once Jean got schooled in the Evangalism Explosion she was unstoppable. Everywhere Jean went there was a possibility to win a soul and anyone she met was an ear to present the gospel to.
Jean also loved the church family. She so looked forward to getting together with them. From praying together, worshipping together, evangelizing together or just coming together for good times, it all made her happy.
A celebration of life will be held at New Presbyterian Church.
