Miss hearing u,but I know u are at rest,it been a year.🙏🙏.

1st met Geoff in 2011, found  him to be a very gentle  person, very calm personality, I keep in touch with him since them, he is my grandson  dad, been trying to reach him and found difficulty,  so I google him and saw obituaries,  💔, last time I spoke with him at end of August,  he sounded tired,phe did say he was tired, well no more pain ,and you did yor while here and rest in peace now,glad to have knowed you,🙏🙏🙏. I know Jirdan miss him sooo.

Many memories growing up with Geoffrey on weekends in Corio Street with recollections of Sundays with Neil Diamond music, Geelong Speed Trials, wharfy picnics,  always managing win a prize for us at the Geelong Show and kicking the footy in Harding Park :)  Many great times in England and fondly will remember assiting  in that ever elusive search for that London Pub purchase. 
Rest in Peace now. Thoughts to Jordan, Melissa and all that knew Geoffrey ( a.k.a Harry)

Geoffrey passed away peacefully, holding his son’s hand. Geoff was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease when his son was 7 years old. Most people only survive 6 years after being diagnosed. He made it 12 years. His goal was to see his son become a man, which he did. Jordan is 19 years old. Jordan has helped care for his father since he was 8 years old. They were like two peas in a pod. When you saw one, you saw the other. They were best friends.

Geoff was the strongest person I knew. He was very good-natured and charming, and everyone liked him. Besides his son, he has an incredible legacy. Somewhere out, a teenage boy is living his best life because Geoff saved him from drowning when he was a toddler. There is a dog alive somewhere else because Geoff ran into a 6-lane highway and stopped the cars on that highway to save that dog.

We were lucky to know him. RIP Dear Geoff.

I met Geoff in deerfield bch fl, at the roadhouse restaurant a local watering hole. He was working in west palm bch as a tower crane operator. He drove every day back & forth from pompano bch. My self i was living & working in deerfield, so we would hook up after work for a cold one or two, he liked his beer! I'm a brit from west london. He often talked of his time over there, he lived in Camden town. He loved london! Anyway for the next twenty something years. We had a lot of laughs and good times! Rest in peace my friend, my mucker.

I think I got my love of collecting from Geoff.  I used to love looking at his collections and looked forward to seeing what he would buy next.   I always wished I had more money and space so I could buy more,  but Geoff never worried about those things!  I am very grateful that he allowed Nicole and I to rent his house in Geelong for so many years - we had so many wonderful times in Corio Street, and I got to live in a house full of weird and wonderful things.  Thank you Melissa and Jordi for taking such good care of Geoff during his illness.   Sending lots of love to you both x

Geoff  Giles - passed away peacefully on Sunday October 20 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida - no more suffering.  Many fond memories of  times with my brother from our early days growing up in Corio St - Swano State School and then Geelong Tech - Geoff's award at Tech still stands for days wagged and spent at the Golden Cue snooker rooms. We travelled a lot together - my first Asian trip in 1977 for work he joind me to Singapore & Hong Kong. Then  he joined  me in Phillipines, India, Italy, Costa Rica, England , Canada over the years - such wonderful memories. But non better than in 1999 when we took Mum to Derry with Fran & Mark & Sarah. Xmas day in Oakham, England, NYE in Glasgow, Scotland,  Derry & Paris  where it snowed for the first time Mum had ever seen snow. The family reunion in Derry was just  amazing and  would not have happened if it wasn't for Geoff's perserverance in tracking down Mum's family tree. Thank you my dear brother for so many wonderful memories that I will cherish for ever . Now in a better place - RIP Geoff. A Fond Memory:
Key West 18 years ago. Geoff smiling his impish half grin. Melissa beautiful and ‘as big as a house’. Greg and I singing the song ‘Going to The Chapel’  and then we witness as the two are wed. Happy sunny days to be remembered.
