With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Gustaryus “B.J.” Williamson, who tragically lost his life on Saturday night, May 10th 2025, alongside his beloved girlfriend in a hit-and-run accident while riding home on their motorcycle with friends.
B.J. was born on February 1, 2000, at Broward General Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. From the very beginning, he was full of life and energy. Anyone who knew B.J. could tell you he was adventurous, fearless, and lived every day with passion. He had an incredible love for motorcycles, cars, and dirt bikes—you simply couldn’t keep him away from anything with an engine.
But B.J. was so much more than that. He had a deep appreciation for nature and enjoyed fishing, gardening, and being outdoors. He loved to cook and share food with his friends and family. His music taste was as diverse as his personality—he could go from Indian classical to soca, reggae, rock and roll, country and hip hop, all in one playlist. He had a soul that connected with all things vibrant and expressive.
B.J. was also known for his huge heart. Whether it was helping a neighbor in need, showing up for a friend, or sharing what he had without hesitation—his loyalty was unwavering. His playful spirit and warm smile and laugh brought joy to everyone around him. His presence was unforgettable—once you met B.J., you never forgot him.
He was a beloved son, brother, and friend whose memory will forever live on in the lives he touched. The world feels a little dimmer without his light, but we will carry his love with us always.
