Gwendolyn Lucille Villano

Gwendolyn “ Gwen” L. Villano, 74 of Davie, FL passed away on March 23,2013 surrounded by her loving family after a courageous thirteen year battle with cancer. Gwen was born October 27,1938 in Rockland, Maine to the late Merrill and Elizabeth (Simmons) Chadwick. Gwen leaves the love of her life Martin Villano with whom she was married 53 wonderful years. She leaves her loving children Elizabeth (Edward) Murphy , Anna ( Terry) Villano-Roe, Louis ( Pam) Villano. Her grandchildren Christopher Villano, Edward Murphy III, David Roe, Matthew Murphy, Tara Roe, Carly Murphy, Gillian Villano, and Thomas Villano , Great-grandchildren Bridgette Villano , Braedon Villano , Brooklynne Villano and Bria Villano , and her siblings Alton Chadwick , Rodger Chadwick , Adele Wielock and Cynthia Chadwick. Gwen was predeceased by her daughter Rose Ann Villano and brother Wilbur Chadwick.

Gwen was an active member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church and one of the original members. Gwen will be remembered for her love of travel all over the east coast and visiting with her loving family and friends.

A catholic funeral mass is scheduled for Saturday, April 6th, 2013 at 11:00 am. The mass will be held at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, 1301 SW 136th Ave. Davie, FL 33325. All funeral arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Funeral Home South, Davie , FL
