A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 306 Morris Avenue,
Summit, on Monday, July 27th, at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Teresa of Avila
Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 26th, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Bradley-Brough

Mr. Gelmine was born in Summit and graduated from Summit High School. He then
attended Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science, graduating in 1957. He owned three
pharmacies over the years being Berkeley Heights Pharmacy, Liggett Rexall Drugs, and
Halligan Drugs.
He was pre-deceased by his wife, Barbara Gelmine, and his son, Peter Gelmine. He
leaves behind his three children, Cindy Imperato and her husband, Gabriel, Bonnie Gelmine,
Steven Gelmine and his wife, Lisa, and his daughter-in-law, Gwen Gelmine. He also leaves
behind five grandchildren, Alexander, Ashley, Peter, Brittany, and Christie, and a sister-in-law,
Joan Van Dyke.
