

Born on January 30, 1936 in Port au Prince Haiti, Dr. Nerette dedicated his life to the service of others through medicine, guided by faith, compassion, and integrity. His vocation as a physician reflected his deep respect for human life and his commitment to caring for the sick and vulnerable.
A man of faith and devotion, Dr. Nerette lived his life in service to God, his family, and his community. He was a loving father, a source of wisdom and strength, and a quiet example of humility and perseverance. His life bore witness to the values of faith, service, and love of neighbor. Dr. Nerette was united in marriage to his beloved wife, Suzy Nerette with whom he shared 62 years of unwavering love, faith, and commitment, a marriage rooted in devotion to God, family, and one another, and marked by mutual respect, sacrifice, and enduring partnership.Though we grieve his passing, we trust in the promise of eternal life and commend his soul to God’s mercy, confident that he now rests in the peace of Christ. He is survived by his loving wife; Suzy Nerette, Eldest daughter Dominique Cumins; daughters Gabriella and Francesca, Stefan Nerette; son Lucas Nerette, Dr. Jean - Claude Nerette Jr; wife Stephanie Nerette; daughters Angelina and Natalya, and youngest sibling Sandra Soriano; sons Alexander and Sebastian Soriano.
A visitation will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, located at 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33317, on January 28, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. with funeral services following at 1 pm.
